Asset Graveyard

sometimes, I get a little overzealous and try to make a page that involves a lot of custom assets, followed by me crashing after making just a few of them. some of them look really nice and some of them took a lot of effort, so I figured I'd put them here as a way to show off art that only my friends would see otherwise.

Adoptable Food Menu

I made these because I thought it'd be fun to have unique div boxes for every category of adoptable I have, all of which would have a theme-based variant. then I realized that's a little over 30 unique drawings, plus some extra adoptables to essentially justify the div box.

Adopted Food Tables

I also wanted a unique page for the adoptables that I adopted from other sites, which would also come with their own fun div boxes. drawing top-down perspective with unique items around it that are carefully placed not to make the spot where the actual content went was pretty challenging. I really phoned it in with the Dark Chocolate theme (not shown here) and by the time I got to Plague, progress had slowed to a crawl. these are the reason this page exists though, they're absolutely gorgeous.

Webkinz Pets

I originally planned on giving my Webkinz pets all their own unique pages. I quickly realized that this was way to much work, especially when I just do not envision my pets with enough character to justify dedicating an entire page for each of them. the idea was that pet pages would be like the old adoption screen, but I needed a bigger, higher quality, extended version of that image... so I drew it, mostly tracing over a crunchy JPEG of the original while extending the drawing with my own details. by the end, I realized Ms. Birdie kinda looked like shit (even in the original) and the page layout I envisioned sucked ass actually.

Webkinz Map Buttons

I had the masochistic idea that I'd remake the Webkinz house map, which you could click through using the arrows and buttons on the side, so people could see all the rooms I made. I actually got as far as making the image map of the map image (lol), links to the first row of rooms, and a Javascript for the scroll buttons + mobile functionality, and then I realized oh god I don't want to take a screenshot of every single room and painstakingly code all the coordinates for the image map. most of the rooms aren't even good enough to be worth the effort.

Furry Avatars

I have been wanting to use something else as my avatar for some time, because right now it's art of my inner world self, something I don't connect with a whole lot anymore. I got excited about finally having a fursona, but that excitement faded pretty fast. I just don't connect to being a furry enough to have that be my avatar, something I figured out when it was time to work on the sidebar avatar and I thought, "I really don't wanna."
