Notes: sometimes, the act of drawing a character I had only represented in text so far helps me with improving the text itself. I realized while drawing these icons that I wanted this character to be gay, but the fact that she is gay never came up. by introducing that fact in a later draft, I was able to take a plot point that didn't feel true to the main character's mental state at that moment and make it make sense rather than having him regress a little or completely changing the plot point.
