Notes: when I was taking these two characters (Danny on the left, Michael on the right) and attempting to put them in a new story now that writing was no longer something I used to simply trauma dump into, I wasn't sure how much I was going to keep and how much I was going to toss. it took a while to figure it out, but looking at old artwork like this made it clear that Michael's bold, sometimes abrasive personality had to stay. Danny's insecurity related to his orientation didn't feel as important, especially now that I've written something else that captures and moves past that part of my life.
