Comments: like Rowan's nonbinary-ness in a world where there is no binary gender as we know it to begin with, I ran into a problem with knowing what to label their wife. I decided to use the same logic, simply choosing terms that we'd use to refer to someone like her in our world, but it felt even weirder here. sexuality is generally concerned with what gender one is attracted to, or in what way one experiences the attraction (for aspec people), and in a world where there is no gender beyond what terminology you use for yourself, everyone would essentially be pansexual, as attraction would be based on something else completely.
