the theme will also sometimes automatically change when you are on a page about a specific work in the writing section.
the theme selector can be found at the top of the left sidebar if you're on desktop, or the section beneath the main content if you're on mobile. the more accessible themes are at the very bottom, called Newspaper Pastels and Dark Chocolate. if you want the colors toned down and the font changed, select one of those. your theme will not automatically change on certain pages if you have either of those selected. the theme selector, along with several other features of the site, require Javascript to be enabled to function.
please note that some images will remain the same regardless of theme, and certain pages cannot have their theme changed. pages with static themes will have an * next to their links.
